River Sojourns
What is a sojourn, you ask? It's a journey. A trip which may traverse hundreds of water miles down Pennsylvania's scenic rivers. Those traveling on a sojourn, or 'sojourners,' are people who share a common love for our rivers and take time out of their hectic lives to get a firsthand experience at the uniqueness of our waterways - either by kayak or canoe.

 A Day in the Life...
Volunteers are making a difference in the health of our watersheds by cleaning up streams, revegetating streambanks and buffers, and by cleaning up abandoned mine drainage from the 1940's and 50's. To celebrate their achievements we've asked them to tell us about their hard work through photos. Check out this site for a look at the volunteers who are making it happen!
