Pollution Solutions
any
of our streams are filled with pollutants - from mine water
discharge to agricultural runoff, to poorly operating septic
systems to trash. Of all the pollutants, the one we can most
easily do something about is trash. Not only does trash pollute
our waters, but it is unsightly, a safety hazard and devalues
property.
A
CleanWays is a nonprofit organization that helps people clean
up the environment. Through PA CleanWays people can 'adopt'
roadways, pathways, waterways, and other areas both public
and private. CleanWays has gathered information from its own
and other waterway cleanups to put together this video illustrating
10 steps to organizing a cleanup.

To become a part of the pollution solution, learn more information,
or to get involved, contact the PA CleanWays at 105 W. 4th
Street, Greensburg, PA 15601-2981. Or call them at 412-836-4121.
