Celebrate Earth Day

 hroughout
the month of April 2003, GreenWorks crews trekked across Pennsylvania
to find out what people were doing to celebrate the earth. We
visited festivals, classrooms, city butterfly gardens, radio
programs and much more.
hese
programs are being featured in a half-hour television program
airing on Pennsylvania cable stations throughout the month of
June. The program is also available for on-line viewing at the
GreenWorks television series website. (show will be available
online on June 5th).

had the opportunity to travel to two different festivals celebrating
Earth Day. I was visiting the “Upstream Festival”
at the Stroud Water Research Center to produce and shoot a segment
for the upcoming GreenWorks television program. This week we’d
like to give you a ‘sneak preview’ at the Upstream
Festival segment as our weekly feature for Watersheds.tv

second festival was the Westmoreland County Earth Day event,
which was featured on the Watersheds.tv website just last week.
