list? If you have a watershed event coming up in the near future,
like a clean up, a festival, or an educational walk and would
like to have your story featured on the Watersheds.tv website
– please contact us. e’re
looking for weekly feature stories, and are inviting you to
become a guest producer. Simply attend your event, take at least
12 to 15 digital photos, and write a story of up to 500 words
including all the important who, what, where, and when facts,
along with quotes from organizers and volunteers and then send
the photos and text to us for review. our
story will then air on the Watersheds.tv website as the weekly
feature for one full week, and will be available after that
on the archives link. We’ll also spread the word about
your feature in our monthly e-news update that reaches all of
the ‘Watershed Watchers’ on our list. If you haven’t
yet signed up to be a Watershed Watcher, please do so now.

Saturday, July 26th began early for 120 participants in
the Youth Conference sponsored by the Pittsburgh North Stake
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Each summer,
as part of their annual Youth Conference, the Youth Council
selects a service site. This year, the Slippery Rock Watershed
Coalition was overjoyed to learn that the participants of the
Youth Conference would be helping out with a wetland planting
in their watershed...  |
North Branch Watershed Association's First Annual Watershed

May 31st was a rainy Saturday in New Britain, PA, but that didn’t
stop the members of the North Branch (Neshaminy Creek) Watershed
Association from getting outside to learn about, and celebrate
their watershed. NBWA held their first annual “Watershed
Awareness Day” at the Peace Valley Park in New Britain
Township, Bucks County on May 31st from 10am-3pm...
