Natural Heroes

Local Stations Highlight Their Own Natural Heroes

In order to expand the scope of the Natural Heroes series and to promote the ideas and philosophy behind it, KRCB offered small grants last year to public television stations around the country to create short pieces highlighting their local natural heroes. The LEF Foundation has generously supplied the funds for this endeavor.

Two stations were awarded grants and their programs are available to view here on the Natural Heroes website. We are delighted to note that the program from WFWA received a silver Telly award!
