Why Recycle Printer Cartridges?
- 1.5 million ink cartridges go to landfills each month.
The plastic used these cartridges can take over 100 years to decompose.
Excess ink and toner can also filter into our water supply.
- For every 2 pounds of plastic in inkjet cartridges produced;
2.5 ounces of oil are used.
- For every laser cartridge produced; 3.5 quarts of oil
are used.
- In 7 months, cartridge remanufacturing will save more
oil than was spilled by the Exxon Valdez in Prince Edward Sound,
Alaska.
- With the United States alone consuming 700 million
gallons of oil a day, you will be helping to conserve a valuable
