SCRIP (Stonycreek Conemaugh River Improvement Project)
Describes how coal mining causes pollution and includes studies and pictures of the effects of acid mine
drainage. Also a link to the River Keepers Program to get the community involved by adopting a
section of stream to monitor, observe and document for PH levels and the health of fish and plant life.

USGS (U.S.Geological Survey)- Water Resources of Pennsylvania

GASP - Group Against Smog & Pollution
Non-profit citizens organization working to prevent air pollution on local, state, and national levels. GASP acts to encourage development of non-polluting technology and environmentally sound legislation.
