DCNR
Pennsylvania Rivers will be filled with paddlers this spring celebrating the values of waterways on twelve special multi-day sojourns as part of an expanded Pennsylvania Rivers Sojourn program. DCNR has joined together with the Pennsylvania Organization of Watersheds and Rivers (POWR) to focus on Commonwealth rivers and creeks by providing $60,000 through Governor Ridge's "Growing Greener" initiative to Sojourn organizers to promote river awareness and stewardship.
