Lehigh River Sojourn Journal Day 5, Evening

After eating dinner we finished our power point slide show. Before setting
up the show Tom Kerr gave the announcements and then handed out awards.
While he was doing that Sherri Clukey of DCNR helped us with hooking up
the LCD projector and getting the screen to appear on the wall. By the time
Tom was done handing out the awards we were ready to set up the presentation.
When the band started the pictures of the people on the trip that day would
flash on the screen. There was also somebody drawing caricatures for free.
His name was Gene Mater and I would watch him draw the different people’s
caricature.
After we took down the slide show we took a nice shower. It was while since
we took one so it felt good. When we were done, we checked out our campsite
took at puddle inside the tent. It was drenched. Nobody could use it so
Alyssa Kinnel loaned Mr. Mauser her tent. We were putting the tent up at
10:00 PM and we were tired. As soon as we were done we went to bed and tried
to fall asleep. The reason we couldn’t fall asleep was because the
trains were going back and forth all night. As soon as we fell asleep we
were done for the night.
