Lehigh River Sojourn Journal Day 5, Evening
Greg A.
June 26, 2002
I usually dont journal about the evening after I finish, but today
I will. After the journal for Day 5 concluded, Nick & I ate dinner at
the Ice House. I put together a powerpoint show, which worked great, until
we hooked it up to an LCD projector. Sherry Clukey, who works for the DCNR
website, helped us get up and running, and we started the show while The
Difference (the Air Products corporate band) played. Many sojourners came
over to watched, and they enjoyed seeing their pictures. If we were selling
prints of the pictures, we would have made a fortune.
As we packed up our equipment, I realized that this was the last evening
we would be spending with the sojourners. It was amazing how we got to know
so many people in a week. On our way back, we met Allen, who was in the
process of getting the shower key from Alyssa (Leader, Organizer, Dictator,
etc. of the Sojourn). Having not showered for three days, we thought this
sounded good, and soon we were enjoying hot running water.
After setting up a tent that Alyssa loaned us (Mr. Mausers had been
left in the rain) we turned in for our last night.
